This current intake is at its final stage, doing Excel. We hope that they will complete at the end of this month.
The number of people attending practices has increased as we have many students from the Repatriation Classes who come to practice as well. We fear that we will not be able to cope with this increasing number if we cannot manage to increase practice hours. The number of female students attending practices is increasing at a crawl. Most of them only come after pleading to them to come for practice! They are usually privileged when they come so that they go home before dark.
The weekly short class, Repatriation Class, is still going on well and these days my assistant, Matabishi Toy, is teaching them too. Though the average allowed number is 9, we sometimes recruit more than that, at times up to 13. This is because many people are making requests and are impatient of waiting for the week that follows.
The Zambian class is back with Zambians from the surrounding villages. We meet once in a week, on Saturdays, for 2 hours.
The operation of the computer lab is slowly back to normal as we have entered the dry season. Power shortage is not a major problem anymore.
