The ninth intake ended on the 30th April 2009. And the process for the selection of the tenth intake started the week that followed. And this intake is planned to start by the 26th of May.
During the first and the third weeks of May short classes (5-day classes) went on well. But the second week was different as all FORGE activities were halted for the workshop that was planned by FORGE. Unfortunately the workshop did not take place that week, and was rescheduled for the following week. During this second week all FORGE staff participated in a computer class designed to improve their computer skills.
On Wednesday of the third week, the workshop started and lasted three days. This workshop had six sessions with the theme: Professional Development Training (Leadership and Management). At the end of it, certificates were issued.
As the repatriation exercise is beginning soon we expect disturbance in the number of students. Short classes might not be affected, but the long one will certainly be!
