This monthly report indicates the main school, personal and miscellaneous activities that were performed within the month.

i - SCHOOL ACTIVITIES:

On the second Month of this semester, we have covered the below mentioned topics in each of the five modules, namely: Labor Economics, Economic Development, Industrial Economics, money and Banking and Research Methodology>

Economic Development: On the above module, the following topics were covered:

  • Different Definitions of Economics Development by Authors.
  • Differences between Economic Growth and Economic Development.
  • Why study Economic Development.
  • Millennium Development Goals.

Labor Economics:

  • Definition of labor Economics.
  • Relationship between Labor and Capital.
  • Labor, Wage Rate and Taxes effects on Economic performance.

Industrial Economics:

  • Definition of industrial Economics.
  • Why study industrial Economics.
  • Profits maximization.
  • Cost minimization.

Money and Banking:

  • Definition of money and banks.
  • Evolution of money
  • Types of money.

Research Methodology:

  • Definition of Research Methodology.
  • Quantitative and qualitative research.

In addition to the topics covered in each module, we had assignment tests in all the five modules.

ii - PERSONAL ACTIVITIES

  • Ridding Bicycle.
  • Maintaining personal sanitation.
  • Listing to music and news.
  • Plying Chess.
  • Having time with my wife.
  • Watching Television.
  • Reading novels and newspapers.
  • Plying Frisbee.
  • Helping my wife with Domestic duties.

iii – MISCELLANEOUS:

I’m very happy to get into this new experience of balancing between my schoolwork, my usual classes with Audrey and my family affairs. At the beginning it looks challenging, but now it has become very manageable and enjoyable to me. To me all of these daily tasks are equally important and require attention and approach at a right time.
