This report is for aforementioned month, and generally classes and lessons were so fascinated indeed we had several assignments for the courses that we are undertaking that sum up 30% of final examination meaning the examinations will be out of 70%, and to mention we had also class presentations which was so great. I was also working on my research proposal that I did mentioned in my previous monthly report. As we are approaching finals we given a week for study break and start examinations on 7th through 12th of December and thereafter, I will be leave for my holidays to join my family. And so far the below are the topics we had covered
i - SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
For Human resource: Ethics; health and safety; bargaining process;
I enjoyed these topics so because for any organization/company to be market leader it has to make sure that the employees are trained in such way that maintain ethical within the organization/company not only to enhance the services, but also attract the clients. And for health and safety it is key that ensure that the workforce is protected directly or indirectly from injuries and accidents work places.
For Industrial Relation; Bargaining process; Government in industrial relation;
I also learned this with keen interest because the largest employer is the Government that employs many people country wide and making sure that has legislation that regulation other employers as well by set minimum wages and salaries, inspectors to see into it that employees are not subjected to working poor conditions, also the aspect of inflation that in the country other employers should take into consideration.
For Qualitative; designing research questions; sources of data;
This subject is involving, but very important to any persons and organizations likewise to carry out the research may be launching new products in market or indeed problem statement that is clearly defined or employees dissatisfaction within the company that requires solution to be provided by top management and surely it is interest subject and I looking to start my topic that is health and safety in Zambian companies in particular Zambia Nation breweries PLC.
ii - PERSONAL ACTIVITIES
Personally, I have been busy with school activities, more constant to school library for the literature review on how to go about the research proposal. Meeting for group discussion on Saturdays to review the progress for the whole week school related activities and also I normally pay visitations to Paul’s wife on Sunday so that she does not feel lonely because the husband left her behind.
iii – MISCELLANEOUS
Having mentioned earlier on that, I will be leaving for solwezi to be with my family this Christmas season, and I would like also to recognize you in this respect for having continuous support towards my school and it is my honor to you all.
