Summary of project status/future activities:

This month the RHS employee traveled to different parts of the Zone G community to do sensitizations on Lower Respiratory Tract Infections and pneumonia. As well, the Zone G General Chairman and the rest of the community worked to rehabilitate an extra room so that RHS can have an additional consulting room with a bed to see patients. They provided the bed as well and FORGE provided the anti-termite chemical to make sure the room will be protected from termites. This initiative from the community was very exciting to see.

This month the RHS employee also handed out 300 condoms. However, some community members were reluctant to take condoms because the condoms we have will expire in April. We are working to secure a new source of condoms to replace the expiring ones.

Future activities and projections:

We are still in the process of working with FHS to arrange a Voluntary Counseling and Testing day in Zone G. This is taking longer than hoped due to the lack of materials from CRS, but as soon as we have materials within FHS to arrange this, the two projects will work together to organize this service in Zone G.
