Summary of project status and achievements:
The library attendance continues to be low due to bad weather. Some of the libraries suffer more from this as some are further from communities than others. The Question and Answer games will begin in January when the PM returns. The games will last for about two weeks before a winner is decided and prizes are handed out.
Future activities and projections:
Next month, the PM is anticipating increased attendance at the libraries with school lessons resuming and the new programming beginning.
Substantial problems or issues:
The ‘F’ librarian, Moses Mulumba, has been given a verbal warning due to this failure to turn in his monthly statistics last month. Despite being given a list of the exact documents that he needed to turn in by December 1st, he still failed to do so. Additionally, there have been some problems with the ‘A’ Basic librarian, who is repeatedly in and out of the clinic with malaria. She has missed a significant amount of work, but the PM is hoping that she has recovered now and will be back full force in the new year. If not, we may need to find someone else.
