Meheba Friendly Libraries Project Coordinator Blog April 2009 (Note - This blog was written by the refugee Project Coordinator for this project. As English is not her first language, there may be some minor grammatical errors in her writing. Care was taken to clarify any passages that were confusing, while leaving most of the blog untouched in order to preserve her original tone.)

Brief account of past months events: The library was in full time operation, although some disturbances. The attendance has reduced probably due to holidays as commented by school representatives and librarians in every block. For orientation and to maintain a good number of clients, we keep on organizing questions and answers (kind of competition) every month and prizes are given to winners having the highest max.

Our objectives are also:

  • To improve the efficiency of students in reading.
  • To help interested members to build up writing skills.

However, some libraries like ‘A’ Basic, ‘C’ Basic and ‘F’ Basic need more activities to attract more clients.
