Summary of project status and achievements:
This month, the libraries ran as usual. There are now only four satellite libraries running in addition to Meheba Friendly Library in Block ‘A’. All of the libraries are currently running new rounds of Question and Answer quizzes. The librarians report that the activity seems to be fairly successful in bringing new clients to the libraries.
Also this month, the PM delivered 17 boxes of new books to each of the libraries. The closing of A-basic and C libraries has been unproblematic thus far. The communities and librarians alike seem to understand the rationale behind closing both libraries and agree with the decision. The PM has still been unable to meet with the A-basic headmaster, as he has been in and out of the settlement for months on teacher workshops and family emergencies.
Future activities and projections:
This round of Q&Z quizzes should conclude in the last week of July and the librarians will hand in new questions for review in the first week of August.
