Summary of project status and achievements:
Andrew officially began his new role as CDRC coordinator, but was hospitalized two times and was unable to complete all training at the intended time. Andrew continues to learn about his duties, and is performing well in his new role. SFCG teacher Kitoko was given a written warning for repeatedly being under the influence of alcohol on FORGE property on 17 March. Kitoko voluntarily resigned from his position on 31 March during a disciplinary meeting with PMs to discuss his alcohol use and misuse of FORGE bicycles. CDRC and UNHCR have expressed interest in increasing the hours of the SFCG program by doing sessions in the community through collaboration with zone leaders. UNHCR has been quite active in SFCG activities, and has distributed videos about life as a repatriated refugee in DRC to the CDRC staff. Non-Violent Communication and Community Development classes both successfully completed an intake this month. The Business Affairs and Community Economics class has not yet completed. SFCG reached 55 participants in 3 sessions.

Future goals:
CDRC staff plan to expand their recruiting efforts in order to increade participation in all classes and SFCG listening sessions.
Substantial problems or issues:
CDRC operations were slow in the month of March due to Coordinator Andrew’s hospitalizations. Heavy rains have been disturbing community outreach efforts and thereby affecting participation. Staff hope that attendance will increase once the rains end.
